In Crystal Palace it would have been :

"You have entered space without protection and died instantly"

In CND you just die after some time, without that message ^^

If you manage to get out of the space station (Crystal Palace) youll normally die...

At certain points you can get outside and you will swim...not getting killed anymore by space.

You can then travel to the server boarders of Crystal Palace... which takes quiete some time...and ends at a black deep abyss...
